It is estimated that 130 million mobile phones will end up in U.S. landfills this year. These devices contain toxic elements such as lead and arsenic that, when disposed of in landfills could contaminate the land and water supply.
LG Electronics has established the LG Mobile Phone Recycle Program to help reduce wireless waste and address the environmental concerns we are facing due to the growing number of retired devices.
By offering consumers a cost free recycling solution for their old mobile phones and accessories, together we can contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment and a brighter future for the wireless industry
How can you help?
