| Golden Spike Tour - Track & Field Invitational
at the Home Depot Center |

| June 1st marked the standing room only Grand Opening
event at the newly built, state-of-the-art sports complex
center. The tour was an invitational tour featuring the
best athletes in track and field from around the globe,
including Marion Jones and Maurice Green. LG Mobile Phones
participated as the title sponsor of the 400-meter relay.
This made for television event was televised nationally
on ESPN, and marked the first time this event has taken
place in Los Angeles. |
