| LG's symbol is the face of the future. |
The letters "L" and "G" in a circle symbolize the World, Future, Youth, Humanity, and Technology. Our philosophy is based on Humanity. Also, it represents LG's efforts to keep close relationships with our customers around the world.
The symbol consists of two elements: the LG logo in LG Grey and the stylized image of a human face in the unique LG Red color. Red, the main color, represents our friendliness, and also gives a strong impression of LG's commitment to deliver the best. Therefore, the shape or the color of this symbol must never be changed. |

This logotype, incorporating the legal names of LG affiliates,
is based upon formative unification.
Its balance and proportion are text elements. Therefore, the logotype
must never be altered or re-proportioned in any way.
|
| |
|
The logotype is always presented in either gray (LG Gray/Pantone 430C)
or black, and under certain circumstances, gold (LG Gold) or silver
(LG Silver) may be used, but it is never to be printed in any other
color. It must be reproduced by typography or by computer graphics
based upon these guidelines.

Left & Right Coordination
|
The elements of the international corporate signature - the most effective visual representation - include
the LG symbol mark and logotype. Different versions of the international
signature have been developed to accommodate the variety of situations
requiring its use. However, in order to present a single image, the
exact ratio and size must never be altered, and must be reproduced
by typography or computer graphics based upon these guidelines. It
is not necessary to print "LG" in Korean unless the law requires you
to do so.

Symbol mark and logotype are based on a positive engraving method.
The reproduction of LG colors
must be carefully monitored to achieve the highest fidelity to the
original and any modifications could cause misunderstanding or misrepresentation
of the LG identity. Therefore, it's important to use the colors shown here:
|
| |
|
Red (LG Red/Pantone 207C) and gray (LG gray/Pantone 430C) are the
most recommended. Gold (LG Gold), silver (LG Silver) and black (LG
Black) could be used under certain circumstances. Appropriate color
use is essential for the accurate use of LG signatures.
